Pomegranates:
Fruit and Seeds, a Versatile, Antioxidant Rich Food

Pomegranates (Punica granatum aka Grenadier), an antioxidant rich food, and a favorite fruit and healthy snack dating from antiquity, are increasingly proving to be a beneficial superfood. The plant grows naturally in the Middle East and Japan, and subsequently, cultivated in the fertile islands of the Caribbean Sea.
